Awards - Financial News names Stuart Gulliver 'European Banker of the Year' and HSBC 'European DCM House of the Year'

Stuart Gulliver, Executive Director, was named European Banker of the Year at Financial News ' European Investment Banking awards dinner on 30 November 2009.

HSBC was also named European DCM House of the Year and completed a clean sweep of the debt categories in the Financial News Awards for Excellence in Investment Banking, Europe 2009.

These awards build on HSBC's major successes at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2009 where we were named Best Global Bank, Best Global Debt House and Best Global Transaction Banking House. HSBC also dominated the debt categories in the Euromoney Awards by being named Best Debt House in Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, the Nordic/Baltic Region, Turkey, Mexico, Hong Kong and Portugal, as well as winning six other regional and country awards.
